A Whole-Child Approach
We look beyond academic skills.
Children also need to learn how to:
- Communicate
- Make friends
- Express emotions
- Follow routines
- Make choices
- Solve problems
- Take responsibility
- Try new things
- Develop independence
- Build confidence
These skills form an important foundation for future learning.
Thoughtfully Limited Classroom Capacities
Kaida's classroom capacities are intentionally limited.
This is particularly meaningful in our Infant and Pre-K programs, where children benefit from opportunities for close interaction, guidance and individualized attention.
Our class capacities allow us to operate with a more favorable staffing environment than the minimum licensing standard alone would require when classrooms are at capacity.
We focus on maintaining a safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate environment where children receive meaningful individual attention throughout the day.
Our Programs
Infant Care

Children Move Forward When They're Ready
At Kaida, we do not follow automatic classroom transitions such as moving children from Infant to Toddler or from Preschool to Pre-K based on age alone.
Instead, each child remains in their current program until they are developmentally ready for the next stage. For example, children stay in Preschool while they continue developing important readiness skills, including toileting independence.
When a child is fully potty trained and developmentally prepared for the Pre-K environment, taking into account social, emotional, behavioral, communication and learning readiness, we can then consider a transition to the next program.
