A Classroom Environment Built for Children
Children need space to explore, but they also need teachers who have the opportunity to observe, listen and respond.
Kaida intentionally limits classroom capacities, helping create an environment where meaningful teacher-child interaction is possible.
Our Infant and Pre-K classrooms are particularly designed with this philosophy in mind.
We focus on maintaining a classroom structure that supports individualized attention and responsive care for each child.
Learning Happens All Day
A child's learning doesn't stop when a planned activity ends.
A preschooler sorting objects is exploring early mathematics.
A child listening to a story is developing language.
A Pre-K child negotiating a game with a classmate is practicing communication and social problem-solving.
At Kaida, everyday experiences become opportunities for development.

Preschool to Pre-K Is Based on Readiness
We don't believe a child should move to Pre-K simply because they reached a particular age.
Children remain in Preschool while they continue developing the skills they need.
When a child is developmentally prepared for Pre-K, including being fully potty trained and ready for the social, emotional, behavioral and learning expectations of the next classroom, the transition can take place.
This individualized approach in every class helps children move forward when they are ready, not simply when the calendar says they should.
